Client: Ruth's Herbal Remedies
Brief: Ruth is one of my very first clients. She approached me about new labels for her products, when her former designer had moved on. Her old labels where printed on a home ink jet printer on return address labels. Needless to say, she was ready for an upgrade.
Ruth grows most of the herbs she can in her own garden at Branch Mill Farms. All other ingredients are either wildcrafted, organic and/or fair trade. She makes herbal tinctures, salves and sprays.
Solution: The first thing to do was to create a new identity, including a new logo. Later I worked on product labels for her many products. And eventually we developed a new website, which is now already in its second reincarnation.
We focused on the handmade, natural quality of her products and wanted that reflected in the logo as well as the brand identity in general.
