DRAG & DROP

Drag & Drop – Art of the dotcom generation

In this series Pacha takes the communication between artist and viewer to the next level. Challenge them, let them be brave, let them be curious, and let them make a statement – involve them in the process of creating art. The piece of art is not finished without an interacting viewer who is adventurous enough to overcome his fear of touching art, and inquisitive enough to want to know what else is hiding; a viewer who is confident enough to make the decision of what to leave behind for the next one, and interested enough not to be satisfied with the very first discovery.

We are in the 21st century. Everything is interactive – from TV to gas stations. Computers are everywhere. The Drag and Drop series mirrors this development without being plugged in to the Internet.

By making her art interactive Pacha gives people a chance to touch it and therefore to experience it in a different way. People have to get involved for it to work. They become part of the finished piece.
